Dr. Yiwu Huang is a physician in the Department of Medicine, Division of Medical Oncology / Hematology, at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He is also the Associate Program Director of the Hematology Oncology Fellowship. Dr. Huang holds a Bachelor of Medicine (equivalent to MD) from Fujian Medical University and his Doctor of Medicine in Cancer Immunology (equivalent to Ph.D.) from Peking Union Medical College and Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. He completed his internal medicine residency training at Staten Island University Hospital and hematology and medical oncology fellowship training at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in New Brunswick. Dr. Huang is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology. Prior to joining Maimonides, he was a faculty member in Cancer Immunobiology Center, Department of Microbiology, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
