In June 2011, Maimonides Medical Center celebrates 100 years of health care innovation, clinical leadership and, most important, outstanding patient care. This impressive accomplishment is the result of dedicated service by many, including those alumni who trained in our graduate medical education programs.
As one of the largest independent teaching hospitals in the United States, Maimonides trains more than 400 medical students and residents every year. Our alumni have gone on to successful careers at major medical centers around the country, and we’re proud to have them serve as emissaries of Maimonides.

Please Join in for the Centennial Celebrations
Save the Date: On June 15th, 2011, the same week we were founded in 1911, Maimonides is throwing a special Centennial Celebration! The event will be held at 4:30pm outside the hospital’s main entrance on Tenth Avenue between 48th and 49th streets. In attendance will be many hospital and community leaders, including Mayor Michael Bloomberg. It should be a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with past Maimonides residents, doctors and staff. We hope you will be able to join us!
