|I was born in Maimonides Hospital, which was then called Israel Zion, in 1946. My sister was then born there in 1950. I still lived in Brooklyn when my own daughter was born in 1967, which was now Maimonides. I vividly remember the round maternity building that was relatively new. My second daughter was born there in 1972. We have a pretty full history there. In 1963 I was a volunteer there for a while when I was in high school. I became friends with a doctor (Dr. Robin Oxman) who now lives in California. We found each other on Facebook recently, and had a "tearful" reunion over the phone. So, MAIMONIDES is "my hospital."
