|I have had a long relationship with Maimonides, Not only was Maimonides the hospital where my family would seek treatment, but I started working in the Patient Relations Department in June of 2001. On October 3, 2004 I got married. Once my new husband and I got home from the reception he stated he could not breathe right and asked to go the the Emergency Room. When we got to Maimonides he was seen and was whisked away and put in isolation where he remained for the next three days. I would visit him every day and where my mask, the nurses were wonderful and would check on me to come out and get fresh air. When I would come off the elevators they would hum hear comes the bride. Everyone made our "honeymoon" as easy as possible. I am proud to be part of the Maimonides family and often tell people that Gellman 814 is my honeymoon suite!
