A Century of Serving Brooklyn
For the past 100 years, Maimonides Medical Center has remained a vital part of the Brooklyn community. Opened in 1911 as a medical dispensary serving the poor and needy residents of the surrounding Brooklyn community, Maimonides has developed into a premier specialty care medical center and one of the largest teaching hospitals in the nation.
