| Marcia Nelson is the Director of the Acute Care for the Elders (ACE) Unit and Staff Geriatrician at Maimonides Medical Center. She earned her RN degree in England, RNP and DO in the United States and completed her residency and geriatric fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center. Dr. Nelson is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Medicine at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Nelson’s colleagues respect her expertise as a clinician, educator and role model. Her affiliation includes the Consortium of New York Geriatric Education Center at New York University as a lecturer and the Brookdale Center for Aging as a mentor for minority high school student. |
