Dr. Erich Anderer is surgeon in the Division of Neurosurgery at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. A native New Yorker, he graduated from Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed his training in neurosurgery at New York University. He has completed fellowships in complex spine surgery and corrective scoliosis surgery at the NYU departments of neurosurgery and orthopedic surgery. Dr. Anderer is currently an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at NYU Medical Center where he is involved in medical student and resident education.
