Achievements, Board Organizations & Clinical Interests:
Dr. Green was the recipient of the 1998 President's Award from Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center for his commitment and loyalty to the Center and for his compassionate and dedicated service to their patients.
Dr. Green is a Physician Consultant in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at IPRO (Island Peer Review Organization) and is certified as a specialist at the Workers' Compensation Board. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, New York Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Medical Society of the County of Kings, Medical Society of the State of New York and the American Medical Association. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. And, he is the Medical Director of the Rehabilitation Unit at the Doctor Susan Smith McKinney Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and a consultant at other skilled nursing facilities in Brooklyn. He is also on the medical staffs in the Departments of Rehabilitation Medicine at New York Methodist Hospital, Wycoff Heights Medical Center and Victory Memorial Hospital in addition to Maimonides. From 1980 to 2000, Dr Green was on the faculty of the Residency Training Program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center.
Dr. Green specializes in most aspects of physical medicine and rehabilitation but focuses on the rehabilitation needs of the geriatric patient.
