Grace's Joy - A TAVR Procedure Success Story

A Deaconess at Brown Memorial Baptist Church in Brooklyn, Grace spends her days working in her community by helping others.

When Grace's heart began to give her trouble in 2012, she came to the Maimonides Heart and Vascular center for help. Having undergone previous bypass surgeries, a TAVR was her only hope for resuming a normal life. Two years later, Grace's heart is doing well and her quality is greatly improved.

In this video, join Grace in the joy of her community worship and hear her personal care story.

Maimonides is one of only 25 hospitals in the nation to achieve outstanding patient outcomes in all three areas measured annually by the federal government: heart attack, heart failure and pneumonia. According to Modern Healthcare's analysis of recent CMS data, Maimonides ranks fifth in the nation for lowest average mortality rates.
