Helping You Achieve Your Goals

The Office of Academic Affairs is the central administrative office that coordinates all graduate medical education activities for the 24 residency programs, as well as all medical student clerkships, at Maimonides Medical Center. The primary mission of the office is to ensure that all programs maintain a high standard of education and full accreditation by the Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or, for our osteopathic programs, by the American Osteopathic Association. Additionally, we ensure that GME is appropriately supported by the medical center in terms of funding, staffing, equipment and teaching facilities. The office also oversees all Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities.

If you are an intern, resident or fellow at Maimonides Medical Center, we are here to help. If you have any questions, please direct them to either your Program Director or Coordinator, or contact the Office of Academic Affairs at one of the following numbers:

  • Medical Students - (718) 283-7629
  • Graduate Medical Education - (718) 283-6879
  • Verification of Training - (718) 283-8353
