At the Maimonides Infants and Children Hospital, we have a team of anesthesiologists specializing in pediatrics. We understand that children are not little adults; that they are different physically and emotionally, and our staff is specifically trained to meet their needs.  We are available to treat infants, children and adolescents (newborn to 17 years of age) twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.  Whether the child requires anesthesia for emergency surgery, radiographic procedures or chemotherapy, our vast experience gives us great understanding in how to offer the highest quality care and outcomes with as little risk as possible.  

The Maimonides Infants & Children’s Hospital provides outstanding pediatric anesthesiology care. We have an excellent team of board-certified and board-eligible pediatric anesthesiologists, fellows and pediatric nurses dedicated to children.  Our staff works closely with physicians from PICU and NICU, among other departments, offering the most optimal care possible.  We also have Child Life specialists on-call who are committed to the child’s well-being. In order to reduce any anxiety children may experience, all diagnosis and anesthesia care is child-friendly, delivered in an environment created just for them.
