At the Maimonides Infants & Children’s Hospital, we know that an integral part of pediatric care is provided by our dedicated nursing staff. Our multi-disciplinary pediatric nurses collaborate with the entire medical team and care for children with even the most complex problems. The nurses care for our pediatric patients by using their knowledge, education, experience and, as always, their compassion.
The Maimonides Infants & Children’s Hospital has outstanding certified nurses and nurse practitioners who are greatly committed to the care of infants and children. Our nurses and nurse practitioners are involved in a wide variety of pediatric specialties, such as ambulatory care, pediatric oncology, radiology, pulmonology, neurology and nephrology. They provide services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in key divisions such as the operating room, PICU, NICU, and the General Pediatric Emergency Room. In order to reduce any anxiety your child may have, our nurses are trained to evaluate and deliver care that is child-friendly, in an environment created just for children.
