Dr. Rosenblum, specializes in interventional pain management. After finishing his anesthesiology residency, he continued his training as a fellow at the NYU pain center. Dr. Rosenblum treats a wide variety of painful disorders ranging from back pain to cancer pain and headaches. He believes that pain is multifaceted and that treatment often requires a multidisciplinary approach. His treatment plans vary greatly, because they are tailored to each individual patient.
Dr. Rosenblum is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He is also specializes in regional anesthesia and has extensive experience with ultrasound and flouroscopic guided nerve blocks. As acute pain can sometimes become chronic pain (long term pain offering no benefit to the patient), Dr. Rosenblum believes in early and aggressive treatment in order to maintain function and prevent deconditioning. Too often, patients are referred to pain specialists after the pain has caused them to stop working or become disabled. Dr. Rosenblum is actively educating physicans and patients about the dangers of disuse secondary to poorly managed pain. |
